The Railway Police Force (RPF) recruitment examination is conducted by the Railway Recruitment Board generally every year to select suitable candidates for the post of Constables and Sub Inspectors.

RPF Recruitment Notification 2018

The official notification for the RPF 2018 exam was released on 31^st May 2018. Online Application started on 1st June 2018 and ended on 30th June 2018.

RPF Recruitment Exam Pattern 2018

The Railway RPF Exam examination will be carried out in 4 phases:

1. Computer Based Test (CBT)
2. Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
3. Physical Measurement Test (PMT)
4. Document Verification (DV)

• CBT (Computer Based Test)

• Negative marking of -1/3 for every wrong answer.
• No negative marking for unanswered question.
• The exam pattern is same for Constable and Sub-Inspector Posts.
• Level for Constable is 10th/matric level and level for Sub-Inspector is Graduate level.

• PET (Physical Efficiency Test)

It is mandatory for all candidates to qualify this level in order to be considered for the next levels of this recruitment process.

• Document Verification

The candidates who have been successfully able to clear all the levels so far would be required to go through this last round – called ‘Document verification’ round. In this, the candidates will have to present all the relevant documents as specified, failing which their candidature will be cancelled.

RPF Recruitment Salary & Pay Scale

• Constables: Level 3 of 7th CPC Pay matrix with Initial Pay of Rs 21,700/-
• Sub-Inspectors: Level 6 of 7th CPC Pay matrix with initial pay of Rs. 35,400/- and Allowances

RPF Recruitment Admit Card 2018

The Admit Card for RPF Recruitment 2018 will be issued separately for all the levels of examination. The Admit Card for CBT will be released first followed by PET (only for candidates who successfully clear CBT). Admit Card can be downloaded from this site!!

RPF Recruitment Result 2018

RPF Recruitment Result 2018 will be declared after each stage. The Final Result for the recruitment will be declared after the PMT test post which candidates will be called for Document Verification. The first stage result and final result can be seen from this website!!
